Hey everyone!
Everyday involves music therapy for me. As someone living with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, I am incredibly sensitive to everything. I get pain from vibrations, sounds, weather, a slight breeze, stepping on a tiny piece of food, and generally existing. Music has helped me a lot mentally to visualize my happy memories in an effort to get back there.
I used to be unsure about social media in multi-day camping festivals. For me, I loved being out of reach and knowing that I truly had “time off” on my terms. I was judgmental of people who used their phones often during events like these. Now I love it because I am able to watch some of these events from afar.
This year I had some wonderful, beautiful friends send me pictures from the Fractal Forest at Shambhala on Sunday night. It was really special. ❤
Later that night, Dr. Fresch was playing from 3:30-6:00 a.m. I watched as much of his set as I could. Dr. Fresch was at Shambhala all week, and seemed to be absolutely in love with it so I really wanted to watch him smash his set from afar. Shit, did he ever. I hope that mix comes out, but in the meantime here’s a banger…
Dr. Fresch’s The Prescription Mixtape #48 with Tombz.
