If you are familiar with my blog, you may know I had a bad experience surrounding a sympathetic nerve block in late April. If you want to refresh your memory, here is a link to that post: My Collection of Radishes.
I felt as though the doctor that day was so shocked by my reaction to the failed nerve block (excruciating pain, screaming, crying, all of that), that this doctor did not carry out their responsibility to me as a patient. Well, I received a full apology from this doctor recently. I also received an apology from the medical facility in which it occurred. The apology from the doctor felt very sincere, and it was really all I wanted. I wanted to know the doctor knew I was left in a very compromising position due to their conduct. I wanted to hear that they agreed that they had left me there.
A small success, but don’t forget to count every one.
